Server Logs
Our Web server does log your IP address and type of web browser in standard server logs. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site.
Cookies
We use a “session-based” cookie for every user to our website to store temporary information about you: Preferences you set during your visit. This information is deleted from your machine when you close your browser, and the information associated with it gets deleted within 4 hours of you leaving our site. “Permanent” cookies are used if you are a registered, logged-in user of the site, and opt to have us “Remember Login Info”. This is how we know who you are across our site and how information should be presented to you. We do not log the cookies in our web server logs.
Contact & Personal Information
When you register on our site, we receive some personal information. This can include name, email address, and other information you choose to provide. This information will never be sold. If you registered and gave us your email address, we may email you things, but only if you checked the indicated box when you registered. These options can be reset in your user profile.
Ad Servers
To help support the site, we have relationships with other companies that we allow to place ads on our Web pages. As a result of your visit to our site, ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type, your IP address and clickstream information.
